PRIMARY EDUCATION PROGRAMME
At Impact Family International School, we provide a comprehensive education that combines the International Primary Curriculum (IPC) and Cambridge Curriculum frameworks. Our Primary Programme guides students through a thoughtful six-year journey from foundational skills to secondary school preparation.
Our programme progresses naturally from Year 1's focus on foundational literacy and numeracy through play-based learning, to Year 2's confidence-building and curiosity development. By Years 3-4, students engage in expanding knowledge, independence, and critical thinking through inquiry-based approaches. The final Years 5-6 emphasize mastery, interdisciplinary learning, leadership, and preparation for secondary education through independent projects and real-world problem-solving.
This carefully structured progression ensures students develop not only strong academic skills but also the social-emotional competencies, critical thinking abilities, and self-management skills needed for future success. Our balanced approach creates capable, confident learners ready to thrive in secondary education and beyond.

Year 1: Foundations of Learning
At this stage, students transition from early childhood education to a structured primary learning environment. The focus is on developing fundamental literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional skills while fostering a love for learning through play-based and inquiry-based activities.

Year 2: Building Confidence & Curiosity
Students continue to build on their foundational skills with more structured learning while maintaining a hands-on and exploratory approach.

Year 3: Expanding Knowledge & Independence
At this level, students become more independent learners, developing critical thinking and inquiry-based learning skills. The curriculum encourages exploration, questioning, and creative problem-solving.

Year 4: Critical Thinking & Inquiry-Based Learning
Students develop higher-order thinking skills and apply their knowledge to real-world situations through project-based learning.

Year 5: Mastery & Interdisciplinary Learning
Students begin applying their skills in interdisciplinary projects, fostering leadership, research skills, and global awareness.

Year 6: Preparation for Secondary Education
Students develop self-management skills, critical thinking, and academic confidence in preparation for secondary school. They engage in independent projects and research, applying knowledge to real-world problems.
